I spent two summers, 18 hours a day in helicopters in the Bush there in the '70's prospecting for Uranium for the Dept of Energy - saw every square mile north, east and west of Fairbanks by chopper. Even crashed in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Snuck into the DeadHorse Oil Camp, watched a caribou choke to death on oil, as her newborn sank into a pool of it, while the oil workers laughed from inside the cafeteria.

1. I listened to Ed Schultz today.

It was great hearing Alaskans discussing Palin at his town hall.

4. Yeah, I usually listen to Randi at noon, but today I had to listen to Schultz for the Alaska thing

And it was obivous that Governor Moosealini's supposed "80% approval rating" is about as real as the Easter Bunny.

I know many on DU don't like Ed Schultz...sometimes I also find him hard to listen to. But his idea to go there and do the townhall was a great idea.
