It would be supreme justice if this Troopergate story not only ruined her chances to be Vice-President, but ruined her political career in Alaska.
That would be the supreme irony for her and her arrogance. Maybe she will regret accepting the call from McCain without giving it a moment's thought.
They must have gotten some bad news from the investigation to make that announcement tonight. It seems weird to me.

Before Sarah got tapped for the VP position, she was totally cooperative with the investigation, and probably would have continued to be. Monegan has many supporters here, of course, but a lot of people were sympathetic to the Palins/Heaths, as well. This would have been handled expeditiously, and that would have been that.
This campaign is undoubtedly going to hurt Sarah within the state because so much stuff is coming to light now that no one would have given a second thought to otherwise.
