Why Obama and his campaign are (wisely) not touching the "Waffles" thing....

This is McCain's attempt to re-introduce race to the forefront.

Any day that the discussion is on race, is a day that the Obama camp lost.

Any day that the discussion is about issues (like today!), is a day that the Obama camp won.

The Obama campaign is wise to ignore the "waffle" thing. That's not what we want the MSM addressing.

10. yes I know that--but since you have also been here a while
you are aware that it is possible to occasionally to change your user name here at DU.

In fact, right after the 2004 elections, we had a major "amnesty" program where many people changed their names (because lots of peeps had chosen names that pertained to the 2004 election).

12. OK, I can see that.
I'm not convinced that it's the McCain camp that's solely responsible for the Waffle thing, but it doesn't matter.

Obabma's already spoken on race and politics and it was powerful.

Let the press refer to THAT speech.
