Obama campaign rolls out new 'faith merchandise'
Source: CNN

(CNN) – The Obama campaign is preparing rolling out a new line of “faith merchandise” – the latest move in an ambitious effort to win over religious voters.

“Check out the Believers for Barack, Pro-Family Pro-Obama, and Catholics for Obama buttons, bumper stickers and signs….” says Obama Deputy Director of Religious Affairs Paul Monteiro in an e-mail obtained by the Beliefnet Web site.

not one bit.

7. Good! Beat the Fundies at their own game!
I have been saying for a while "why do THEY get to corner the market on GOD?"

Besides, the catholics outnumber the evangelicals .... and Joe Biden brings that Catholic vote...yea!

The terms "Christian Democrat" "Christian Liberal" or ... BRACE YOURSELVES "Christian Socialist" are NOT oxymorons.

Although I have strong reason to believe that "Christian Republican" may very well be. ;)

16. They don't own God
But they have lobbyists putting on some pressure to strike "Thou Shalt Not Lie" from the 10 Commandments.

As a Christian I am pretty tired of these republicans acting as though only a "real Christian" would be a republican. They have made such a mockery of Christianity, it sickens me. Last week I had some right wing nut tell me I wasn't a true Christian if I vote for Obama because republicans only stand for Christian morals and values. After laying out all of the sleazy scandals and hypocrisy of the republican party she shut her mouth and had nothing else to say.

On the other hand, I do wish people would stop lumping all of us into the same group with people like Bush, Palin, and other evangelical groups.
