Colin Powell: Obama As President Would Be "Electrifying"
http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7012310956

Washington, D.C. (AHN) - Former Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Monday he is still undecided about who to support in the presidential race but that having Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) as the nation's first African-American president would be "electrifying."

During a forum at George Washington University, Powell, the first African-American Secretary of State, said Obama's victory would send an "electrifying" message to the world but that voters also "have to make a judgment... which of the candidates blends a right measure of experience and judgment."

"I have been watching both of these individuals, and I know them both extremely well and I have not decided who I'm going to vote for yet," he added.

1. Fuck Powell, he had his chance to save the world and push us (as in US) under the bus.

5. I agree with you, but if he can pull some of the militaristic types away from McCain..
whatever his reasons, it might save the world from being thrown under the bus a few more times.

6. I agree. But, he is still respected by the repubbie voteers,
and perhaps even influential to them. I really don't care what he does, as long as he stays out of the government.

2. We know who he is going to vote for.
Let's hope he shares it with the rest of the country sometime soon!

3. Electrifying?
Not half as electrifying as the chainlink fences around Gitmo - where you belong with the rest of the war criminals, Mr Powell.

10. In agreement. There is still respect for Powell, this could help - wouldn't hurt.
I'm thinking with undecideds and indies - it may push them in the O direction.

I read somewhere that he said he'd make his decision after the debates.

7. We all know that he wants
to endorse Senator Obama, just wish he'd go ahead and do it.

Undecided at this juncture? I'm very skeptical.

9. My guess is that he'll endorse after the first debate, 9/26
It will be on foreign policy, and Powell will construe it in some way to validate his choice of Obama.
