October Surprise is coming!

Monthly and quarterly 401K, IRA, 403B, etc. statements will hit voters' mailboxes around October 10-15. If all politics are local, it doesn't get more local than the kitchen table. Many people will get a slap in the face from the Bush/McCain/Gramm economic ideology (ideology is not policy). And scolding Americans to "quit whining" is not going to change the numbers on those bottom lines. Americans are going to want more than rose colored glasses (the fundamentals of the economy are strong).
