This is crazy. The McCain/Palin seems to be melting right before our eyes. |
|
I'm not going to celebrate yet, but just the feeling in the air... it's like someone flicked a switch.
It's like they're coming apart at the seams!

1. It's like you can only hear the same joke so many times before losing interest. |

8. The polls are lagged compared to DU |
|
It takes a couple of days for information to get to "regular people" (not DU types) it takes a couple of days to ask the questions, it takes a couple of days to compile the results and then it takes a couple of days to get the results to be reported.
When you take that all into consideration a couple days here and there its easy to have things measured not show for a week to 10 days fro what we see in DU to what the real world polls reflect often diluted.

3. They've never been stable to begin with |
|
They have been running off of inertia from the convention and the attraction of the American public (and media) to shiny new things. Now that that is over (and Obama is hitting back), they have only their pitifully cheap tactics to fall back upon.
Even Bush wouldn't be doing this poorly. He would have actual issues to run on (albeit terrible ones, of course).

4. Its the REAL deflation of the convention bounce |
|
We here in DU experience things in an advanced time bubble. What you are perceiving now is just the REAL WORLD catching up with where we were 7-9 days ago, we are still ahead in our bubble which means next week is going to be a WORLD OF SUCK for McCain/Palin

7. The repeated lies are the boomerangs around their necks |
|
How often can they just spew the lies before the crowds melt away? The country is aflame and they are standing there saying "pay no attention". It's really quite insane. Obama/Biden need to nail them on the debates once and for all.

10. They were held together in the first place with moose spittle. |

Once it evaporates, things start to fall away.
I sense it too. An incredible lack of focus by McCain's team. It's as if Palin demoralized McCain's crew.
