I have been trying to stay positive I really have but after watching CNN and MSNBC today all I can do is say :wtf:
I am begining to think McSame/and Barbie, could committ actual murder on live televsion and get total immunity from not only the press but the American Public as a whole.
They said on CNN that a poll just released in Minnesota shows Grampy pulling even in a formerly reliable DEMOCRATIC state. Is this even after the meltdown on Wall Street yesterday?
That McSame has pulled to within 5 pts in NY. ETU Brutus in my nice lovely Blue State. What the hell are you people smoking?
Can people seriously still believe that McSame is the best thing for this county.
:wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
Like Stephanie Miller said on her show yesterday. Until this election is over and we know for sure that Obama wins, I too am going to be :banghead::banghead::banghead:

There are so many people out there who would be voting for Obama right now if he were as white as McCain.

He just said "a poll" ...... this is a good thing ....... journalists play devil's advocate with who their interviewing ..... the chic before calls McCain out on his lie that Obama will raise taxes "our analysts show that Obama will LOWER taxes for 90% of all Americans" (and McCain stumbles all over himself and says, "well our reseach show most Americans dont even pay taxes..." huh?) ......... so they have to find something to skewer Biden with and the WORST thing they have is that some random poll shows things even (oh no! even!!!) in ONE state.
Everyone just chill out ....... WE got this! ;)

friends and family to the polls. Not that people aren't making the effort all ready but maybe this will triple the efforts.

7. Both polls are over a week old. Neither show a major gain for McCain because |
|
neither had Obama up "large" the last time they this particuler outfits polls. They're using different methodology. We'll see if they're right.

they are a week old. I am taking a deep breath now, and hoping the Wall Street meltdown helps turn the tide in our favor.

10. Have you ever heard the warning "If it doesn't make sense, it's |
|
probably WRONG?" I've trusted that caution my whole life, and it's always proven to be correct!
I don't know if the polls are being faked, if they're polling the wrong mix of people, if their weighting model is wrong or what, but SOMETHING is wrong with the results they're reporting!
Calm down, and pay attention to what you see and feel. McNuts campaign is lying about the # of people attending his speeches, his running mate is being shown as a lier and a fraud, and more so every day. Yesterday, while the DOW was falling 500 points, McNuts was saying the economy is fundamentaly STRONG! EVEN the media has been criticizing him for THAT ONE!
Now, think about all those things. Does it make sense that he would still be gaining in the polls????

It doesn't make sense. I am taking deep calming breaths right now. I am hoping that after yesterdays Wall Street meltdown and McCain's Hoover remark, we will start to pull way ahead.

17. I still don't think you'll hear it reported in the polls. There's |
|
something fundamentaly wrong with how the polsters are reporting their info. I don't know if it's their selection of "victims", the way they weight their data, their lack of ability to contact cell phone users, or that they only contact people who have voted in previous elections, but something just doesn't feel right, and hasn't for a long time!
Look at how the media is reporting that 1/2 of the Hillary supporters will vote for McNuts! DOES ANYONE REALLY BELIEVE THAT! I sure don't!
We need to make our judgement based upon how many people show up for each candidate's appearances; how enthusiastic the supporters are; the media constantly reporting the HIGH new voter registration by the Dems.....
Those pieces of info will give you a good sense of what's real.

23. Part of what's up is poll and opinion lag: we're actually seeing the impact of the campaigning |
|
about at the point McCain Palin started to crash and burn.
Don't get so wrapped up in the day-to-day poll results. They mean something, to figure out what they mean you need to A) know how to interpret them and/or have someone around who does to explain them to you and B) examine the poll's internals, carefully, to tease the real information out.
Polls as published in the press are less news than they are easy stories for reporters to cover.

19. I don't believe that. Yes, there are still SOME racially biased |

voters in the US, but the #'s are dwindling. The majority of the really hard core racists are OLD, and many if not most have died off.

Got people here saying "I dunno, I just can't see a black man in the White House", or "I just don't like him. I can't explain why." (or they don't want to explain why).
And these are young(ish) people. I mean like 40-50 yrs old. My generation. We saw Dr. King on TV way back when. I guess none of that sunk in for some people. But we know kids learn prejudice and fear from their parents. I just can't understand why some people are afraid. I am more afraid of having a very sickly slightly insane old man with a religious zealot wacko at his side. That truly terrifies me. But today listening to Old McSame speak in dimwitted platitudes and generalities about the economy and then hearing the very reasoned intelligent speech by the "BLACK MAN" (as people like to think of him) I could not help but realize that it is a fight between the Smart vs the Morons. We are living the movie "Idiocracy" right now. We don't have to wait 500 years for it.

24. I already said there are SOME people like you described. SOME |
|
are much worse, and don't even try to hide their prejudices. But I still believe they are a minority, and I also think many of them are the same ones who think Palin is an answer to their dreams! My FIL was a nasty racist pig, but my husband voted for Barack in the primary too, and is completely convinced he will win in Nov! Yes, people get their prejudices from their parents & surroundings, but it doesn't always stick with them!
I turned 65 yesterday, and I remember the days of Dr. King, the riots, and Johnson announcing he would not run for reelection. I will also tell you that I voted for Barack in the primary, and will vote for him in the GE, but I would never have voted for Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. It's not because they're black! It's because I don't agree with them on much of anything! Oh, and BTW, I remember people talking about Powell running for pres. Obviously, since he declined, we'll never know what his ideas were, but knowing what I did about him then, I could have voted for HIM too!

13. They're catapaulting the propaganda. |
|
Setting it up for a steal.
I'd say that here in reality, with about 10% of the electorate undecided, it's about 60-40 in favor of Obama. As Gallup admitted yesterday, they don't release polls that they can't massage in favor of McCain, so it's all a load of mooseshit.
Don't believe the polls. Help get out the vote. If they steal it, start a revolution...

20. Wait til the end of the week. The events of the weekend and yesterday won't |
|
seriously impact polls for 3-5 days and it will probably take more like a week to ten days for people to fully digest what is going on. Obama needs to really take advantage of the next week and the 'fundamentals' ad is a good start.
