My own father repeated this to me on Sunday. I sent him to the Factcheck site (which he never heard of).

A MAJOR effort has to be made to defeat this lie (which was amplified by the Republican National Convention).

6. If the media keeps hammering McCain, more people will become aware.
Frankly, I believe the blogs (inluding the media blogs) calling him out forced the media into a corner.
