John McCain admits he's blackmailing Obama...
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 10:02 AM by TwoSparkles
Every American should be outraged after listening to John McCain
admit that he will stop the dirty, perverse, lie-based campaigning--when
Barack Obama agrees to do town-hall-style meetings with John McCain.

This is completely disgusting. "Country First"...oh really? John McCain
has kept this country off track and away from the issues--with a sleazy,
distraction of a campaign. And now he admits--it's Obama's punishment
for failing to follow John McCain's surly demands.

John McCain different from George Bush...really? They agree on policy
90 percent of the time, and now it appears that they campaign in the same
thug-based, lie-centered, bullying fashion.

This is a direct quote from John McCain, when he was on
"Morning Joe" earlier today. McCain answered a question from Mika Brezinski
about the "Fundamentals" ad that Obama released this morning. Brezinski
asked McCain if the ad was fair and here is John Mcain's response:

" If you would urge him (Senator Obama) to do town-hall meetings with me--as I have
asked him to do time after time--the whole tenor of the campaign would change.

Joe will tell you that when you stand on the stage with your opponent and listen
to the American people and respond to them, that changes the whole campaign. Initially
he said 'any time any place' and now he refuses to do so. I don't think that's helpful
to the American people, nor to the tenor of the campaign.

This clip begins at 4:20. http://thepoliticalcarnival.blogspot.com/2008/09/surly-john-mccain-on-morning-joe.html

We should all be so outraged.

John McCain's enormous avalanche of lies and disgusting distortions--is a temper tantrum and a
blackmail device, because he wants Obama to agree to town-hall-style meetings.

Because Obama would rather participate in the three agreed-upon debates--and not participate in town-hall style meetings
in which the audience members and the questions could be manipulated--McCain has unleashed payback.

John McCain isn't fit to be President of the Three Stooges fan club, let alone President of the United States.
He is a very bitter, cynical, backbiting old man--and I am so proud of Barack Obama for standing up and refusing
to back down to this revolting bully who will lie and destroy when he doesn't get his way.

America, wake up! Do you really want four more years of this garbage in the White House? Haven't we had
enough dysfunctional personalities, debased behavior and thug politicians in America's White House?

1. Trying to think of a delicate way to say this
Because someone will certainly be offended. But it seems like McCain is kind of a, um, sissy. He reminds me of a kid who pouts when not getting his own way.

3. He is a Sissy - Campaign of Whiners
John McCain is a sissy, and this with his POW experience under his belt.

He's a whiner. John McCain is running a Campaign of Whiners. He's weak, feeble, aged and small and he's got no moral character left.

He's a shell of a man. Hell, a weak, palid, mentally challenged shell of a person.

2. 4th grade playground rules
Play the game my way or my friends will beat you up.

That's what McCain is doing. However with bullies even playing by their rules, their friends will still probably beat you up.

THe RNC would have trashed Obama no matter what debate formats he might have agreed to.

4. Isn't it fabulous that Obama stood his ground?
He didn't cave to these classless thugs.

You can bet--behind the scenes, it was a ruthless situation. I bet they flat out told
Obama that they would destroy him if he didn't participate in these town-hall meetings.

The reason that McCain has gone totally mental--is that their punishment backfired.

Their ads are lies and everyone knows it. They look like attack-dog thugs.

So, they're bullying and threats didn't work. And subsequently, their big, "Oh yeah, well...we'll
destroy you with attack ads" backfired on them big time."

What a bunch of incompetent, near-sighted THUGS.

They can't even effectively implement their evil, grand plans!

John McCain is like "Dr. Evil" from "Austin Powers."

"What's that you say, Obama? No townhall? Then I tell the world lies about you!!! Muahahahah!"

5. Why does he think appearing together with Obama would help him at all?
Are there some Sekrit Ground Rules he's not crowing about?

7. This goes along with his statement the other day... when questioned about the negative ads, McCain
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 10:19 AM by beat tk
responded that the tone of the campaign may have changed in response to Obama's refusal to do townhalls over the summer.

edit--the look on his face was that of someone who just got passed over for a promotion.

8. If these town-halls are so important to McCain...
...you can damn well bet that they've rigged them with planted
questioners and other dirty bait.

Their temper tantrum is all the more reason to reject the McCain camp's town-hall demands.

Again, I'm proud of Obama for flat-out rejecting them, despite enormous pressure and bullying
that they enacted on him.

The Presidential debates will roll around soon enough. The first one is in less than two weeks.

No voter will care about McCain whining about town-hall meetings after those debates.

McCain must be absolutely terrified of those debates.
