More McCain inanity: So what is the remedy when 'capitalism' breaches a social contract with the
American people? Have Conservatives completely stopped listening to this man because they are so much in lock-step with the Republican Party? You would think that McCain's blather about capitalism breach of the social contract would raise the hair on the backs of Conservative commentators.

1. Exactly what social contract has capitalism formed with the American people? My rudimentary understanding of social contracts is that 'Government' forms an agreement by consent of the people as a whole to grant GOVERNMENT limited authority to 'govern'?

a. What powers or authority were granted to the thing that Senator McCain calls capitalism?
Is the invisible hand of capitalism really not that invisible, whereby the 'representatives' of Capitalism become the real governing authority and Congress is just a ruse--is that actual social contract that McBrain is referring to?

b. When did the people consent to this grant of power -- and which people consented? Did our 'representatives' in Congress turn their authority over to the fat-cat cronies of Capitalism--and McCain is acknowledging this? Does the consent of laissez-faire members of Congress equate to a consent of all the people? WHO CREATED THIS CONTRACT THAT MCVAGUE SEEMS TO KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT?

2. How can you tell when Capitalism has breached the contract?

a. Is this a concession that banks run our government and our economy? So, according to Candidate McCain, we know Capitalism has breached the agreement when Banks fail and when some banks fail and Republicans chose to bailout some banks (and not others) whereby the U.S. taxpayers must cashout fat-cat investment bankers who run the Capitalist show? Who gave them a right to run the show in the first place? And where exactly is the FAILURE? Is a Government bailout EXPECT in some cases (nevermind wink knod - we should expect that)? Is the Failure when other banks fail and don't have the pull to qualify for a bailout? Where exactly is the BREECH?

b. When thinking about what amounts to a breach of the "Capitalist" agreement, consider whether Mr. Accountability (self-describe Straight Talker) is really passing the buck. Government oversight is not to blame here according to Senator McNutz: Capitalists are to blame. Huh? Can you just imagine the reaction that Obama would get if he blamed the financial crisis on C-A-P-I-T-A-L-I-S-M!! Yet, no hue nor cry from RW Shockjocks and the Conservative Cable punditry -- nadda peep. Odd?

ONE MORE QUESTION THAT I DARE ON POWEDERFACE CABLE ANCHOR TO ASK Mc* and his peepy lil' spokescreeps:

3. What is the REMEDY when 'Capitalism' breaches a social contract with the American people? Shouldn't McBrain put some meat on the bones of his blather -- who must pay for this breach?

a. When Conservatives hear McBrain's threats to take some of the 'money' back -- do they even know what McNut's is talking about? Is McKook really ready to shut-down the entire Capitalist system because of the banking criss? Really-really?

.....or.....

b. Does McBush want to pick the pockets of a few bad apples who sail away on Golden Parachutes? Is that McFreeRide's remedy for the failure of Capitalism? New laptops for Government Bureacrats (who need to modernize to keep up) and a smack on the wrist of a CEO or two.

Responding to a major crisis, by blaming a few bad apples -- sound familiar?? Sound Bushian??

Labeling that crisis a failure of Capitalism IN THE GRANTEST OF TERMS, but treating this grant failure like a failure of a greedy few: does it sound like straight talk to you?

No likely follow-ups from the chattering class? Back to the messages brought to you by CAPITALISM and by the PETRO-CHEMICAL-BANKING-CAR FINANCE Industries. No time for follow-ups, gotta run those commericals for the advertisers and the Straight Talk Express ads.
When will real Conservatives stand-up and show some real integrity?
