Barack saves Broncos from Bush curse. Broncos bad luck at Mile High ENDS. |
|
Barack Obama will also end the Bush curse on America. That curse has meant that every year is worse than the last. With Obama, things will just get better.
Barack Obama came to Denver, called our stadium by it's corect, non-corporate name, and then hosted an incredible crowd at Mile High Stadium. The Bush curse over the Denver Bronces began in 2000 when bush visited Broncos training camp, at the same time taxpayers were building the Broncos a new stadium.
Since 2000, the Broncos only luck at Infested Field was BAD luck. They lost bad and sometimes the losses were pretty painful.
Now the curse has been removed and guess what? The Broncos won because of good luck and ok play. First the replay equipment didn't work which mistakenly gave the Broncos a turnover a few yards from the endzone.
Finally, the Ref mistakenly blew the whistle late in the game that kept a Broncos drive alive for the winning scores. The Bronco quarterback clealry fumbled the ball which was recovered by the opposing team. However, the ref had blown the whistle which meant that the Broncos got to keep the ball. The Broncos then scored to bring them within one point of tying the score. With the Bush curse lifted, the coach decided to take a gamble and go for two and the win instead of going for one and the tie.
There is hope, America, the Bush curse can be lifted if you let Obama do it.

1. Well....After Reviewing The Cutler Fumble |
|
and deciding it was a bad call by the ref - maybe you're jumping the gun on this crazy idea.

I LIKE it!
Let's see if your theory holds true for this weekend when we get the Saints at Mile High.
Can you say 3-0?

3. Um, OK, except they had won eight in row home games coming into the season |
|
and still have one of the highest, if not the highest, home game winning percentage in the league, even after moving to Invesco field.
Not to take away from a "good luck" spell, as a long, long time Bronco fan, I'll take what I can get, but you make it sound as if they were chronically losing at home, which isn't true.
We have fantastic home field advantage here!

Sports fans, myself included, are a superstitious bunch. Let's hope the Broncos continue to win.
