SKINNER - Put a STICKY for CHECK IF I CAN VOTE (Url/Websites)
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 11:32 AM by quantass
Hey there Skinner. With all the Republican tactics to purge legal voters from the list can you put up a sticky which makes it easier for people to check their current elgibility to vote in their respective state.

The only two sites I've found are:

Vote For Change: https://www.voteforchange.com/
Vote Poke: https://www.votepoke.org

Thanks.

1. I checked that and I KNOW I'm registared.
Both sites could not find me.

I voted in the California (the one in June) at my new address. Should I be worried?

13. I couldn't find my son on either of those sites.
It's been a long time since he voted.

But I checked on our state site, and he's listed there as being registered.

So check your state's site. If you're listed there, you should be OK.

4. They should also check with their local election officals.
I tried both of those sites and they show both my husband and myself not registered.

I just called LA County and verified that we are.
