11. PEOPLE!!! LOOK at the size of each of the convention bumps!!!
Obama's was bigger. His ceiling is higher.

Now, look at the LENGTH of the bumps. McCain's might be longer by a day or two, if that. And he didn't have a competing convention that undercut his bump.

Big picture, we're doing pretty good overall.

5. We're gettin' there!
For all intents and purposes, we're tied right now. Hopefully those Obama numbers just keep movin' along!

6. Obama must have been ahead today
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 12:08 PM by Zenmaster
It was at 47-45 for 3 straight days. For Obama to go up a point, he must have been ahead in last night's polling.

Assuming it was actually 47-45 for those 3 days, Obama would have had to be ahead in last night's polling 48-47 to get that bump.

7. Very good news. By the end of the week maybe we will see a tie or Obama a point ahead
He needs to keep attacking and keep tying McLame to this disastrous economy.

9. State polls lag behind the National polls
You see a trend here, and they will catch up in a week.
