This crap about meaning "American workers" when he said fundamentals is laughable. It may be obvious to us,but do you think regular voters will see it that way? (One only hopes)

2. I Laughed
when I heard that. He begin using American workers instead of Fundamentals in later speeches. I actually had a Repug here at work chastise me for Obama attacking American workers. They have drunk the Koolaid.

4. No. The condescension is palpable. "The American worker" is Bush-psychopathy language: MEANINGLESS.

5. He was all over TV this morning doing damage control, so it
must have been considered a problem. Sure, some people will believe his BS, but that statement was shockingly inappropriate yesterday.

6. Some fools might buy it but the statement has no logical flow
its clearly more bull from the McSham campaign.

7. No.
Although many people will pretend to buy it, because they support McCain.

10. He was doing some quivering on those lines wasn't he? Doesn't he have a "tell" when he lies?
The tough thing is that John Sidney McCain III lies so often, it is hard to have a starting point, free of dissembling, from which to start the chart of his "tells."

I'll check again.

At the Bikers' Event, at which the primary highlight was JSM III's gaffe about entering Cindy in the contest, something more meaningful happened. He was meant to approach the mic to commiserate with the audience about the price of fuel. He scrambled his words. "Bucks. Dollars. Four Dollars. Four Dollars a gallon. Bet you're tired of that." -- or something equally choppy. That was the odd thing to me. The pre-written sentence came out scrambled. So I was at first worried about strokish behavior. But then it may just be JSM III's rebel inside that doesn't want to recite lines but would rather blather on his own. By himself. At least let me do that, he may feel, as the noose of having sold his soul to the Cheney Gang tightens on the campaign trail.

Will his "tells" become more pronounced as time rolls on?

Time will tell.
