There was another terrorist attack on American soil last night. |
|
American embassies are American soil, same as standing in New Jersey or any other state. The attack yesterday in Yemen on our embassy was a terrorist attack on American soil. So much for the "no terrorist attacks on American soil since 9/11.
When are we going to war with Yemen?

a crude technicality to be sure but true nonetheless, particularly since Republicans used to like to point out how Clinton failed to thwart the US embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, as well as the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000. They'll probably cut Bush/Cheney (and themselves) some slack now and try to convince the rest of us that this is another reason to vote Republican in November. I'm surprised that nobody remembers how, for the first time in our history, somebody (and we may, unfortunately never know who REALLY was responsible for it) successfully unleashed a fatal biological attack against our country. So, Bushco is now batting a 0-3 average in terms of preventing REAL attacks on American soil?
EPIC FAIL!!!!
Of course, this just makes the case for electing Republicans to the WH for another four years.
