"Nothing less than the final verdict on an economic philosophy that has completely failed." - OBAMA
i believe this could be the final nail in the coffin of the corpse that goldwater started, reagan made mainstream, gingirch radicalized, tom delay criminalized and george w bush and john w mccain destroyed - the conservative so called "revolution"

...and good riddence, it could not have come sooner.

can i get an AMEN?!

Sen. Barack Obama said Tuesday that the country is facing the "most serious financial crisis in generations" and argued that rival Sen. John McCain would only make it worse.

"I certainly don't fault Sen. McCain for all of the problems we're facing, but I do fault the economic philosophy he subscribes to," Obama said in Golden, Colorado.

Obama said what's happened in the past few days is "nothing less than the final verdict on an economic philosophy that has completely failed."...

... Obama said the United States needs leadership to get the country out of its financial problems.

"I'll provide it, John McCain won't, and that's the choice for the American people in this election," he said.

2. Obama says what needs to be said. It's the indisputable failure of an entire economic model...

Again.

An unregulated market is nothing more than criminal anarchy.

Keep on hammering, Obama.

3. That's it, keep hammering McSame, forget Caribou Barbie, she is a crook and will
fall on her own Moose-weight. McCain needs to be linked to the economic collapse.

5. Or, Just Show This Graph - Can You Imagine If Obama Did A Powerpoint?
This graph show real median household income. I am dubious about the idea that we have even made it back to the high point we were at under Bill Clinton, but the fact remains that income growth has been flat or worse under George Bush:

6. That's the soundbyte
We finally have a nominee who is calling out Reaganism and unrestrained capitalism. I'd have thought the place would have been party central at this news.
