McCain: I am for regulation now. No, really. I am...
Today the Washington Post is reporting on this McCain quote.
"Government has a clear responsibility to act in defense of the public interest, and that's exactly what I intend to do," a fiery McCain said at a rally in Tampa yesterday. "In my administration, we're going to hold people on Wall Street responsible. And we're going to enact and enforce reforms to make sure that these outrages never happen in the first place."

McCain, the fiscal conservative, anti-regulation, is NOW jumping on the 'regulation' bandwagon.
}(
Yeah I know what you're thinking...
:puke:  :silly: :wtf: :freak: :spank: :grr:
This is probably his biggest flip-flop of all time, even bigger than his 9 minute flip-flop on Gay Marriage in the middle of a Hardball College Tour.

OK, McRoosevelt, whatever you say... :eyes:
Did you clear this with your 135 lobbyists or is this another shameless pander like the Palin VP pick was? :dunce:

IT'S HIS FAULT Wall St. is in this mess! And he expects the voters to believe he's "seen the light" O8) and wants to clean up the mess his butt-buddy Sen. Gramm and K St. made?

If you believe that, I got a bridge to nowhere in Alaska to sell ya (H/T Obama's economic speech)

Question: Will the undecided voters see thru McCain's shameless pander?

4. This is SUCH a gift to Obama and the Democrats.
Shameless, John.

Absolutely. Shameless.

But what do you expect from someone who already got his? If you're in your 50s -- now your retirement will begin on the day you die. Someone on CNN said that people should go to jail over this mess. Nice thought, that; but it ain't never gonna happen.

That's why I get pissed when I see the sudden hand-wringing and the cries of concern from those who aided and abetted this debacle.

6. McCain bragged about being the "greatest deregulator"
“You are interviewing the greatest free trader you will ever interview, and the greatest deregulator you will ever interview,” he said.

Now he claims to be a BORN AGAIN POPULIST.

8. Answer
Question: Will the undecided voters see thru McCain's shameless pander?

Anyone who is still truly "undecided" either is truly stupid, doesn't care, or is lying.

I expect that the first two types of "undecideds" will not see through anything. They are intellectually too weak. All we can hope is that they are so stupid they forget to vote.

The third "undecided" either will choose to believe the pander because they are a Republican, and they have been taught to believe and embrace fairy tales and lies since Bible school. Or they already know damn well McCain is a liar.
