O/T but I need help how to view cnn.com/live videos with Firefox version `3.0.1

I just updated my FF version and now get "stream error" for technical issues when I try to view cnn's live streams. Anyone have the same version and problem or know how to fix it? TIA! :hi:

2. yeah, I've seen post on tech boards that you have to install

flash player ten, I haven't tried it so I can't tell you if it will work or not. I've just been using ie 6 to view videos.

3. I had to update my codecs

If you are using Vista, you also might have to install the windoze media player plugin patch. It took me two days to get CNN and AAR's online stream to work and I think that was the ticket.

4. Install flash beta ten; if that does not work go back to 2. I am an IT manager and we have

not bought into firefox 3 as of yet due to issues such as this. Some of the problem is due to the websites themseleves. In addition, CNN requires another software to run. CNN Live should alert you to this. If you are still having problems uninstall Firefox and try again.

7. Thanks-I'll try that. Also, do you know how to make tabs viewable without having to

scroll left and right? My old version had them stacked in 2 rows or even 3 if necessary.

8. I just searched and got "flash PLAYER 10." Is that the one?

9. if it says 10 then yes and it is probably the beta. Check out the daily show or youtube to check
