Bill O'Reilly actually was fair to Obama and must have caused many Republicans to take a second look at him...remember Obama saying that Repubs were whispering to him "we will vote for you" and he (Obama) whispering back to them: "Thank you". And soon we will have Nazi sympathizer Sean Hannity minus his white blankets and cone hat interviewing Sarah Palin...the image will be indelible: Palin playing footsie with Hannity the Repugnant. Thank you Bill, Thank you Greta and Thanks but no Thanks Hannity

They suspect that Obama might win and if they skewer him, their access to the new adminstration will be compromised. Chris Matthews did the same about-face when Kerry looked like he was winning, then turned back to the dark side when the Bushies started the attacks that led to his loss.
