Dude!!!!!! Gallup Daily: Obama 47%, McCain 45% NEW September 17, 2008 The Sept. 14-16 Gallup Poll Daily tracking update shows Barack Obama with 47% support among registered voters, and John McCain with 45%; although not a statistically significant lead for Obama, this marks the first time since the week of the Republican National Convention that McCain has not held at least a slight edge.

People will see McCain and see the GOP laissez faire policies that tanked the market.

You could have predicted the post convention bounce vanished the following week months ago. Many of us did.
These polls are too early to really reflect mondays, and todays, stock market fall.

I doubt he will get above 45% again, unless something spectacularly negative happens.

They just have to keep it close ~ isn't it Gallup that had to confess lately that they were not polling a huge segment of voters?
Guess who that group is voting for ~ OBAMA!

20. What About Registered Voter vs. Likely Voter?? |
|
Isn't Gallup choosing which poll (Likely vs Registered voters) depending on how McLame does?
Does anyone have the the "Other" Poll (Likley voters)?
I would care more about a poll of people are very likley to actually vote.

27. There will be no headlines about McCain bounce eroding |
|
The same day when Obama hit his 50% for the first time, some schmuck from politico was talking about Obama not having a bounce. And then they the headlines kept popping up about Obama's bounce quickly shrinking.
Now we see no headlines of McCain's bounce going away and the possible reasons.
