Okay - my fellow Dems - it's time to lash out at CNN again - check this shit out:
Fiorina's comment called 'Biden-like'

From CNN Chief National Correspondent John King

(CNN) — Top McCain-Palin official Carly Fiorina is facing criticism from some within the campaign for a day of what they call "very Biden-like" comments, after the former Hewlett-Packard CEO told two separate interviewers that neither member of the Republican ticket would be capable of running a company.

Democratic VP nominee Joe Biden is noted for his off-the-cuff gaffes.

***************************************************************************************

Don't they mean "McCain -like"? Isn't it McIdiot that has become the king of gaffes during this campaign? But that's not even what pisses me off the most - it's that a McCain spokesperson f*cked-up and John King is invoking Biden's name into it - implying what she said is no worse than something Biden would say.

assholes.
I actually liked CNN, but in one week, they lost me.

C'mon DUers - let's stick up for our VP candidate:

1. They'll never stop throwing out the gaffe line when it comes to Joe.
Even the "good" news people refer to that rep, so don't let it get to you.

It was McCain's campaign that said "Biden-like comments" right?

The irony is, as you point out, that Biden hasn't been making gaffes.

The rep was always bigger than the reality. When people here would say "he's CONSTANTLY making gaffes" I'd say, "name them. List ALL of those gaffes he's been constantly making over the past 30 years'. Never got a response - not one. Yeah, he's made some, but it's the same ones that keep getting pulled back out and recycled - he is NOT a gaffe machine.

So let CNN say it - it doesn't mean anything.

3. No - It was John King of CNN that said it.
If it was someone in the McCain camp, I would expect it.

2. The best we can aim for is to REVEAL the LIES of the M$M - they all are skewed to promote the GOP.
The Average American KNOWS that they talk "out of their ass" and very few people place any true veracity in the TV Cable News Media Outlets.

Let's get the truth out via alternative sources and INSIST that our "talking head" democratic strategists have "a pair." ;)

5. I wrote, as I always do.....
To CNN:
I'm exhausted with CNN's push to demonize the Democrats running in the Presidential Election each and every day. John McCain's record clearly demonstrates that he is a deregulator, and nothing he says in his pathetic attempts to make himself appear as a populist should be reported seriously by any self respecting media. It is a shame that CNN continues to try to make McCain look better than he is. I am seeing straight through CNN, who really has no rationale to push McCain upon us other than their share of McCain's promised Tax cuts for the wealthy and the hope for more deregulation for corporations. This needs to stop. The people are sick of media facism in America masquerating as a function of democracy. Shame on you, CNN!

Sincerely,

9. Do you mind if I plagiarize a bit? Not verbatim, but paraphrasing. You made such good points.

10. Thanks - this is the 3rd time in just a few days that they have made an issue out of Biden's gaffes
which he has really had none. Calling Obama "Barack America" - haha - that was actually funny.
And the unfortunate incident with the man in the wheelchair, which Biden apologized for immediately once he realized that the man couldn't get up.

They made an issue of his gaffes on that special over the weekend.
AC talked about it Monday nite, and now there's this.

Maybe they should spend more time listening to Biden rather than criticize him.

6. Not to be incendiary, and I know what you mean...
but I take that as a compliment (one she doesn't deserve). I like Biden's candor.

But yes, making it a slam to him is uncalled for, and needs fixing.
