and this is no way to choose a president.

I'd bet Biden knows more jokes and card tricks.

Anyone who can't sit down with regular folk and down a few has no business running for office.

23. I would rather have a beer with Sarah. I would rather Sen. Biden control the nuclear launch codes.
I find Sarah Palin, in purely personal terms, likable enough - in an entertaining, wacky kind of way.

I've had any number of nutty friends and acquaintances over the years who make me laugh. That doesn't mean I want they performing delicate heart surgery on me or determining the technical details of important questions like, if the world falls into a nuclear abyss.

Somethings are better left to people who actually know something about it and are a bit more measured in their thinking.

25. I don't drink so I actually would prefer the person who would behave themselves even drunk: Biden.
About the only entertainment there is being the only sober one at a drinking party is if the drunks themselves are amusing and happy-- not belligerent. I have the feeling that Republicans overall make depressed and hostile drunks. NOT FUN.

26. Actually, *most* Senators would be fairly beerable, IMHO.
You don't get to be a Senator by being unapproachable and nasty. (The House is another story. I'm looking at you, Michelle and Jean!) I even have a fantasy of having an big old-fashioned southern dinner with Trent Lott one day. Just to talk. It's on my bucket list! (I know, eww.)

30. I know, it's sick.
It just seems like he's sort of a "gentleman" of a classic Southern sort that I've only encountered in novels. I wonder.

28. Biden but he doesn't drink or so he said the other day

This is from an article I saw yesterday about him riding the train:

"Biden situated himself at the back of the first business class car, about half of which was sealed off from other passengers by a uniformed police officer. After awhile, he began to work his way towards the snack car for a bottle of water and a cranberry cocktail — non-alcoholic. The Delaware senator doesn’t drink. “Too many alcoholics in my family,” he said."

I still think he would be MUCH more fun to hang out with then Phalin. And he is cute.
