Palin cancels visit to Florida's The Villages because of.....weather concerns.
Sorry, Sarah, but there appears to be only a 30% chance of rain in that part of Florida this week-end.

Palin cancels Villages visit

From The Villages Daily Sun: THE VILLAGES — GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's campaign event set for Sunday on Lake Sumter Landing Market Square in The Villages has been canceled by her campaign officials due to weather concerns.

Kinda strange: 30 percent chance of showers. Like almost every day in Florida

10. The only part of her that needs melting is her heart.
and I don't think that would happen even with the Florida heat.

Okay, her face could thaw out a little too. ;)

...from a reporter, and her ladybrain needs to recharge for a full 72 hours. Plus, the big bad reporter scared widdle Sarah. Or at least, that's what the McCain campaign says.

Or have you read something that leads you to this? I was thinking it had to do with Palin as she's the one pulling out of these events.

26. Palin is part of the POW camp now.
Guessing it is something about her through the POW camp. They are working very hard to get the investigation stopped in AK.

29. There's one about Todd Palin's brother, so just more extended family junk
but I don't know if the N.E. has more than that.

It looks like they're scared of Troopergate since they're trying hard to kill it. I hope whatever they're afraid of is big.

It's a small victory that they're already pulling their "rock star" out of some media-hogging appearances.

30. She has apparently also cancelled a visit next week to Washington state.
Soon after I posted the item below about vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin coming to a Washington fundraiser, the John McCain presidential campaign canceled it.

Ralph Munro, the Thurston County champion for the Republican ticket, called to say there was a shake-up in the schedule that won’t allow Palin to attend the $1,000-a-head fundraiser at a Hunts Point home, near Bellevue, on Sept. 24. He said he understood a few rallies had to be changed around.

“We’re hoping to reschedule. The event will still take place. We are hopeful she’ll be replaced by Cindy McCain, John McCain’s wife,’’ Munro said.
