Lynn Forester de Rothschild...a female Lieberman... |
|
She was just on MSNBC and I swear she sounded like Lieberman.
Norah didn't call her on any of the talking points. I waited for Norah to ask about women's rights and abortion. Nothing. Nada.

2. Just saw it - she was unreal |
|
Went on and on about how much better McCain is than Obama - and then cited a bunch of things on which Hillary and Barack are virtually indistinguishable.
Wow.

all she needed was scotch/rocks and a cigarette to make my image complete. :scared: Why m$nbc even gave her air time is beyond me.

11. Hillary UNDERMINED Obama in profound ways. Some keep holding onto these negative notions that |
|
deeply rooted in American cultural bigotry and they don't really go away even if theses folk vote Obama. That is the problem with a really nasty primary. Rothchild is just a prominent example of one of those who you can't get back -- sad but not surprising situation.

7. Rothschild said Obama had $839 BILLION in earmarks! Shows what she knows-zip! |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-17-08 02:54 PM by flpoljunkie
Bet this clueless elite also doesn't know that total Congressional earmarks make up less than 1% of the federal budget. That's right--less than 1%. It is a favorite McCain canard, yet the media never calls anyone on it in his campaign--certainly not John McCain himself!

19. Doesn't Obama need to make an |
|
ad about this then? "EARMARKS"! If the corporatemedia won't question anyone on the lies(and I don't expect them to) then Obama needs to get this viral canard shot down..since it's such a important talking point for self absorbed tools like rothchild.

about the Supreme Court.
What does it mean "country first?" Is it only about war, or is it about our Constitution?

14. She takes weekend trips to the US, wears $50,000 outfits, and calls Obama an elitist.... |
|
And on the day that her net worth dropped another 3-4% she endorsed McCain for 4 more years of the same. I welcome the exclusion of people like this from the Democratic Party. Make no mistake though, you're talking about a very small % and I don't believe this type of person should brand all Hillary supporters. She's a manipulator and a bad one at that.

15. You know they're scared when the millionaires are doing cameos |
|
in front of the commoners.
Remember: The formerly poor fatherless black man from chicago is an elitist.
These people are scared. Donald Trump endorsed the geezer today.
Good news: Ben Stein reluctantly endorsed but yelled and screamed that Gramps had to rip his own innards out and replace them with modern anamatronics including---gasp!----REGULATIONS!!!!
HE USED THE R WORD!!!!! OUT LOUD!!!!

|
This appears to be much more about her, and not Hillary. She likes the status quo too much, and it isn't in her best interest for Obama to win. She just wants to continue with the current corrupt system, and she is worried that her power and influence will wane.

17. She refused to support Kerry back in '04. She should've been 86ed from the party then. |
|
The Dean money may not be up for grabs (yet), but all the candidates are hot on the heels of Gephardt’s New York backers. “I got phone calls from Kerry’s and Clark’s fund-raisers,” says Lynn Forester de Rothschild. “I’m not doing anything. So many people let Dick down"http://nymag.com/nymetro/news/politics/national/2004race/n_9790/:grr: One good thing about Obama's excellent grassroots fundraising effort is that he can afford to cut these petty assholes loose.
