4. Everyone -- Don't PANIC. It makes it worse.
If you have long term investments, just ride it out. A bottom will hit and things will go up again.

6. yep, once they realize how much they've lost
and the 401K is now a 201K they will be pulling that slot machine lever again to get what might be left inside the machine.
