1. And the RNC is using loopholes in campaign finance laws to funnel tons of money into their coffers.

2. So much for "maverick the reformer" , eh? MORE pretentious lies from the Repigs.
It's their M.O. - say one thing, DO the opposite. Then try to get voters to believe what you're saying, while distracting them from what you're DOING so they don't notice. If so many voters weren't so dumb, this wouldn't be so easy. But it is far far too easy for them to get away with their pretentious hypocrisy.

3. Isn't that illegal. Or at least violate the terms of McCain's use of Public Financing?

5. the fec has not had quorum for a while.
so even if he were violating campaign finance laws, nothing would be able to be done.

kerry and bush did this in 2004, but to a much lesser extent than mccain this year.

4. here is the link:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=94729637

mccain and the rnc can get away with this by virtue of hybrid ads. as long as these ads contain a passing mention of a member of congress, they are allowed. thus, the rnc is allowed to create ads for mccain's campaign and not be subjected to the same campaign finance laws that obama is restricted to. combine this with the matching funds that mccain received by accepting public financing and mccain is at little to not financial disadvantage.
