Does the faux outrage over Palin email remind you of the fluff queen Paris Hilton's "stolen" Blackbe
Blackberry? Or maybe it was her cell phone. This was after the infamous sex tape, and it was clear that another story was needed to get Hilton back on the news (since she doesn't actually DO anything), so suddenly her cell phone or Blackberry was lost and all the phone numbers of all kinds of celebs (GASP) were stolen, etc. Hey, maybe it really was stolen for all I know.

It was on the news, I mean prime time news (seriously), for like two days. This fairly fluffy story so far at least reminds me of that because the emails look very innocent so far (lots of family stuff, almost nothing at all about her campaign, stuff against Obama, or schedule or anything you would really expect the VP candidate to have in his/her inbox)

It is not as major a story as the economic crash and does not have an impact on the real, everyday lives of Americans. It also makes Palin look like a victim again.


I am new but I have visited and read posts on DU for a long time.
