Hacking Palin's email account was wrong...
If it was Obama...well, he wouldn't be doing state business on a freaking yahoo account that just about anybody with a brain could hack. As I was saying, if it was Obama we'd all be screaming our heads off about it, demanding investigations and looking for those responsible to be arrested.

I agree
But that does not excuse Palin for being clueless and reckless.

2. Yeah
Can you imagine the water cooler talk tomorrow? Poor, picked-on Sarah...someone hacked her email account.
Now, tell me after seeing who benefits by this story who you think was behind it?

3. It's 4chan.
They didn't do it out of political motives, they did it because they heard she used a yahoo.com account and thought it would be funny. Morals rarely come into the picture for them.

13. They are probably one of the most despicable group of people on the web.
Edited on Wed Sep-17-08 06:32 PM by FVZA_Colonel
This does not seem out of character for them.

On Edit: I mean, I haven't been able to go anywhere near their image boards for years. I just can't believe it was born out of a relatively normal site like "Something Awful."

I don't want to help Rover! I swear I don't.

I'm not a troll. I'm not a Rove plant here to distract everyone with the yahoo email-gate.

What the hell does it have to do with us anyway :eyes:? Are lefties as a group, Democrats or the Obama campaign saying that was awesome?

There are 5000 things (at least) that we need to be way more concerned about than the Palin soap opera and the constant gazing at the navel of DU....On a day like this I am amazed anyone can summon up any interest over that Palin creature and her never-ending reality show.
Wall Street, as we knew it, is fucking dead-thanks in large part to McCain's dear, dear buddy Phil Gramm. I am even less interested in teen pregnancies, lipstick blah blah blah than I was even a week ago...

18. And the hackers are naughty folks. Bad bad. Tsk Tsk.
Unaffiliated with any campaign. They hacked the account she used for government business in order to keep secrets. Whoops.

But those anonymous hackers are more ethical than the Republican operatives who deliberately try to suppress Democratic voter turnout through caging lists and poll challenges and malicious software code.

Stealing America Vote by Vote is far worse. www.stealingamericathemovie.com

19. I'm not so sure that this wasn't done by the GOP. this would be
a Rovian tactic. We have no way of knowing if everything was released and if not they are now gone forever, as someone else posted earlier, 'down the memory hole'. The accounts have been deleted and now so any chance to subpoena those mails. And it gives the campaign an opportunity to claim Obama or surrogates or just plain ol' liberals have done this dirty deed.
