Haha, my design classes are coming out now. If I was you, I'd put the Obama sign closest to the street, the No to 8 sign 5 feet inside the sidewalk.

10. My husband just moved them.

The Obama one is in the center of yard. We have grass on the other side of the sidewalk that is our property by I don't want people that park on front to bump into them.

I'll probably move them around again.

I think maybe the No McCain one can be turn to face the street and keep the other sideways.

34. Our gardeners are so great.

The whole "yard thing" was a sticky point with me when we started looked at houses.

I don't "do" yards. Never liked it as a kid. Never had plants in my apts. The green thumb gene passed me over.

My husband was all "oh I'll take care of the yard" .... well he DOES take wonderful care of his veg garden and the plants ... but the grass ... nope! We ended up hiring the same gardener the previous owners had. They are just wonderful.
