See Pelosi and Reed what happens when you let Bush get away with
ignoring subpoenas without any punishment? You end up with governors subverting the rule of law and on down the line until grandma can rob the bank and she decides not to show up for court or serve her sentence for robbing that bank... do you see what Bush and his minions have created?

3. I was just putting together a rant on this very same topic. The Repukes
have learned that they can do whatever they want or say whatever they want, and there are not repercussions. In fact, there are often rewards.

I was listening to Rachel's radio show, and they were discussing how Haley Barbour and his thugs have outright violated the election laws of his state by listing the Senate race at the very bottom of the ballot. The Dem there is running strong, and could possibly actually win, so Barbour and his hack Sec. of State in Mississippi designed the ballot with that race at the very bottom, hoping that a lot of voters will only vote in the "major" races usually at the top of the ballot. They are blatantly breaking the law and they are going to get away with it.

Palin and McCane lie on a daily basis. They repeat the lies over and over. McCain runs ads that have been fact-checked and declared false. Then he runs an ad, quoting the fact-checker, which is also false. What kind of people continuously lie, even while being called out on it in front of millions of TV viewers? People who know they can get away with it.

Now we have Palin and McCain actively working to subvert the rule of law. And doing it publicly and proudly. Because they know they can get away with it.

I don't hold all the blame over Pelosi and Reid's heads. I put a lot of it on the media. They are supposed to the gatekeepers...the referees...and they are so ruled by their corporate masters that the lies and law breaking never see the light. The press is so important to our democracy that they are specifically mentioned in the Constitution. They are, in large part, to blame for this attitude by the Repukes. If the press doesn't report it, it never really happened.

6. There's a lot of blame to go around... but working for US, The People,
would help us out just a bit.
