18. North Carolina and Virginia are showing the Country that they are not part of the
"Ignorance Belt" of Southern states that has almost single handedly been enabling the Republicans to win elections. Who knows, by 2012 maybe some other Southern state will rejoin the party of the people.

5. Way to miss the point.

No one is concerned Obama is going to lose NC when NC has been always considered a lock for McCain.

The point is Obama is gaining ground ON McCain in a state widely considered to be bright red. You might know that if you bothered to pay attention.

The next comment might get me flamed since I'm technically a "noob", but posts like yours where you don't even bother reading, completely ignore the point and just post inane babble like "concern noted" devalue these boards as a whole. Gee, why should I bother posting when some morans won't even bother reading the post and just keep repeating the same line over and over again? Sounds like someone else we know. In fact, I'll just call what you're doing by its proper term: McCaining.

15. On the bright side...
money they are spending in NC they aren't spending elsewhere. McCain can't hold on to all these 'red' states he's playing defense in.

12. If it is this close, that's bad news for Dole.
She's in a close race and under 50% in the polls, generally a bad sign for an incumbent. Maybe she'll pull McCain down!

14. I think whether Obama wins here or not,
he's probably enough to boost Hagan to knock Dole out.

And McInsane will be forced to spend money here to hold on to the state. So great news for Democrats and great news for OBAMA/BIDEN!

19. Besides spending money
putting McCain on the defensive toward his many tiny states will almost guarantee a larger Obama plurality in big states McCain must surrender. Once the GOP political strategy moves to an electoral win the untenable will become quickly apparent.

They should have picked Romney to gut out a contest in places like Michigan and larger states. Then steal the rest, of course. What they have flipped out on is "excitement" much of it negative to shake the table nationwide. Palin is the biggest, most unprepared and worst gamble they made yet but one their nut base may have forced upon them. As the dust settles down the landslide can begin.

13. Keep spending money here, McSame!
Obama is coming to Charlotte, you better be dumping money in NC and Va. Do you think you can hang on to both?

Oh, I love seeing McSame/Failin' on the defensive.
