Jon Stewart just juxtaposed the Palin Hannity interview with a credit commercial.
If you missed this, you HAVE to watch the video when it comes around.

I can't believe I'm posting this silliness. But it was total Daily Show genius.

It totally exposed Palin for the trivial sham that she is.

11. Paraphrasing Jon Stewart from before the 2004 election ....
... I expect he would again implore the American people, "Please, make my job harder."

12. Seems like after the writers strike
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 11:22 PM by maseman
the shows have been much better. I don't know if some new writers came around or if they were just invigorated to a new level. Of course the Alaskan Wonder Fuck has given them gigabytes of comic material to write.

7. Phew. He's still towing the line. It's hard to watch.
He's very good at it.

But I know that two and two are four. I can connect the dots. And yes, it would take all night to discuss.

At least Jon knows. He speaks for me.

14. Ironic, isn't it? For a comedian, Jon's damn good at interviewing.
Blair had a good comeback on the no two democracies every having gone to war. But Jon tried. And even made the point.

Blair really showed the weakness of politicians. I've always hated how he's good at making excuses. What a weasel.

9. But God -- Jon Stewart is Not Giving Up!
His line on the nineteen men was incredibly articulate. I don't know how Blair could even respond to that one. I have always admired Blair's debating skills -- this was a battle of the titans.

13. Absolutely. Blair has had to know how to rebut.
And I think his answer made sense. However, and Jon knows this, it didn't justify an invasion.

Like I told someone today, I think Blair had a billion bucks thrown at him.

I'm shocked he is this much of a whimp.

10. That was an amazing bit, pairing the perfect informercial scenes with ...
... the Hannity softballs. One of the best bits *ever* on TDS.

Totally emasculated Hannity.
