Has anyone seen this ad put out....about encouraging Sen Obama to admit the surge worked...Please I live in Maine...I was very disturbed...it was an independent ad and very misleading...but I didnt catch who put it out...It was on during cable news....

A 527. And the ad didn't tell any lies, nor was it misleading. I don't like the ad, I think it's a crock of shit, but that's probably because it's effective. They just laid a couple of quotes on the table, and they made Obama look bad. Unless you agree with Obama, as I do, that the troop escalation did NOT work.

Obama's only choice it to hit back with a tougher ad. That's how the game is played. Just don't LIE like they usually do (but didn't in this ad).

But what is does do...it take a person who knows nothing about the intricacies of the surge (which is complex) and implies that Obama somehow doesn't understand Iraq....Just wait until the Sunni's stop getting their $300.00 a month....so much for the Sunni Awakening....
