I just saw REAL WORLD scary proof that McCain is wrong about fundementals

I live in california and gas has been higher than the average pretty much all summer, no big deal we are used to paying more for some items and even flirted with 5 dollars a gallon for a few days in my area.

This morning went to grab gas and it was hanging at 3.70, but heres where it gets scary and raises my Oh crap meter that was the CASH price all other means of purchase wre 3.85 for the same gas.

If the fundamentals of our economy are strong as McCain claims, WHY THE HELL IS A MAJOR CHAIN GAS STATION, not some mom and pop, A MAJOR CHAIN STATION TRYING TO GET CASH ONLY PURCHASES and actively turning away sales in credit card and ATM.

And no it wasn't a hardware failures, cards were still working, and you could still purchase that way, it was just "discouraged"

1. The gas station pays a fee, around 2%, for each card purchase.

They're just trying to squeeze out a few more bucks in profits.

They were told to bypass immediate deposits also.
