Today is the day for Obama to announce the People's bail-out |
|
With all the focus this week on Government intervention for the markets and major investment firms, Obama needs to get ahead of the curve by not just criticizing McCain and his cronies for getting us here, but stepping up and clearly enunciating what he will do for the regular voters to get them through this crisis. Whatever is in his position papers isn't sinking in directly; he needs to take the stage at a point when people's attention is focused on the fiscal crisis, and get the key features out clearly and concisely.

1. The media only covers sound-bytes. He can do what you say - AGAIN. |

But it won't make a dent nationally unless there are bells and alarms and people on fire.
The media only plays sound-bytes.

He has to outline the message in pithy sound bites, and then real the voters in to get the details.
