Similarly, my mother was telling me about a segment she heard on NPR the other day. It was a group of crazy fundamentalist women.

Now what would your first impression be? That they would love Sarah Palin (her being a saved woman and all) and are voting McCain, right?

Wrong. They hate her and McCain--because Sarah "defies the traditional role of the woman as according to the Bible".

Now here's the kicker--not only do they not support McCain, they're VOTING FOR OBAMA. Why? Because "he understands the true Biblical role of women in public life".
