4. What's wrong with the McCain campaign?
Don't they have any respect for property rights? First they use Paris Hilton in one of their ads without her permission and now this? These Republican operatives have no respect for our laws whatsoever.

12. And they don't even bother to read the lyrics!
They chose the Heart song Barracuda because it was Sarah Palin's high school nickname. But a) it contains the line "If the real thing don't do the trick/you'd better make up something quick" and b) it was written was in response to a rumor that its author was having a lesbian affair with her sister!

Forgot to mention that even Geraldine Ferraro came to Michelle Obama's defense. Strange days indeed...

6. Of all the people on Faux
who'd I'd definitely call non-partisan, Major's gotta top the list.

But seriously, The ad uses him stating a fact, not an opinion. It's pretty hard to claim that he was being partisan in the one sentence.

(now Taverner will call me a freeper....)

9. If he was doing a McCondo ad, he IS partisan.
and I'm sure the asswipe took money for it too.

all repukes care about is making a quick buck.. and if they can screw over the country while they're doing it, it makes them even happier.

Can't get more fair and balanced than that! :eyes:

But seriously, folks, what was Garrett thinking? Aren't on-air talent like him forbidden to do that sort of thing, even in non-political situations? I can't imagine any network, let alone Fox, giving him permission. So unless MCCain gave him a script and put a gun to his head, he's the culprit. What Fox ought to be doing is getting HIM off their air.

But then again, Garrett isn't exactly an ethical giant. Remember this oldie but goodie about his refusing to believe Paul Begalia's denial that he would be joining Hillary's campaign?

14. The McCain Campaign has demonstrated over and over that they don't believe in asking permission
from anyone in this country for whatever material they need to manipulate for advancing any false cause they choose.
They just ruthlessly steal it.

Perhaps that's only a keyhole glimpse into what a McCain WH administration would do in actual power.
