We should have ads asking what McCain's VP is hiding, questioning his judgment to pick someone to be his VP who is just like Bush re: secrecy. Maybe show Palin saying she welcomes the investigation and then say now they're refusing. What are they hiding and what does this say about McCain?

1. I am not as informed as I should be about how this works but how can someone just NOT testify?
Don't they have a legal obligation to?

5. They do,
but in order for further action to be taken (i.e., contempt), the full legislature has to vote on it. Unfortunately, our legislature is not back in session until January -- unless 2/3 of them decide to hold a special session.

16. I hope they do, too.
It all depends on how much pressure is being put on the Republicans, who are the majority party. Sarah has her Republican detractors in the legislature, for sure, so it will be very interesting to see how it all plays out.

2. She got the Bush Doctrine right this time ...
... refuse to testify and thumb your nose at the law of the land.

3. Lemons out of lemonade.
I agree. We might also point out that McCain's goon squad is interfering in Alaska's state's rights. I thought Republicans were big on states' rights.

8. Yup...
not to mention this goes against their "transparency in govt." message.

18. Not only saying it at first
but saying it many, many times, prior to August 29. My guess is this would have been a small bump in the road for her as governor, but McCain's people have blown it up out of all proportion. They reap what they sow.

11. first dude is violating subpoena
who does he think he is? Karl Rove?

Yeah, this would be a fantastic ad.

her hidden emails, bush's hidden emails.

watergate style (that grainy color palette)

rove avoiding subpoena, todd palin avoiding subpoena

them laughing in their mansions - slo mo as they drink their scotch on the rocks in crystal on a golf cart.

while sons and daughters of average amercians are dragged off to prison for a dime bag, family in despair.
and often have to enlist to get out of trouble

rove and palin laughing it up

executive privilege- what does it mean? is it a fair claim?

17. final question
what is more patriotic?

caring about where bill clinton dipped his wick

or

caring about sarah palin's abuse of power, her husband's ties to AIP, both of their refusal to co-operate and testify as they promised to do. (no more accountable and transparent govt)

these clowns need to get over themselves. hoisted on their own petard so many times...and perhaps one final time for fun.

Note to morans: If you are still voting for mcCain/Failin ticket, you are being used by the party. If they tell you we think you are a hick, what they mean is you really are a hick. If you weren't, you wouldn't let yourself be used this way. It isn't our fault that they want to humiliate you by calling you rednecks and hicks in public. You should probably be mad at them and then at yourselves for buying into this self-sabotage for so long.

Sad to say, but if that is all you think of yourselves, I officially give up on all remaining "failure" voters.

My community organizing is not for your benefit anymore. Go suck someone else's teat...the GOP will be more than generous. I can see how much they care about you from their actions. Go MORANS. (sarcasm)
