How many irrelevant polls do we need? (Obama n' football, Obama n' teaching your kids)
So polls (I've seen these news gems on Yahoo) show that people would rather watch football with Obama, or (more importantly) have him teaching their kids. Then why aren't they overwhelmingly going to VOTE for him? (Of course, we all hope that they do).

I think we should think up other completely irrelevant polls (and I'm sure some will think there are 'too mean', but ... just remember what the other side has said and done about everyone from Clinton to Kerry to Hillary & Obama for so many years).

Favorite hospice patient: McCain
Bitch I'd like to kick in the ass: Palin
Person I'd like to fire and leave homeless: McCain (but dang, his wife would still leave him with riches)
Person wolves would most like to shoot via aerial gunning: Palin
Person I hope sinks into obscurity ASAP: Palin

Submit other ideas as you wish...

1. They're not irrelevant..... they tell how comfortable the voters are with a person...

Americans want to like their President.

Do not underestimate polls like this.

3. No, I understand - I can't forget how many people thought Bush was a 'guy I could
have a beer with', or 'have BBQ with'... but you and I know that LIKING your pres. candidate shouldn't take precedence over whether they're smart, experienced, and can do the job! And have good ideas, good people surrounding them, possible solutions to our problems... but sadly, yeah, too many people here think more of the former than they do the latter.

2. Remember Rick Davis said that this election will be about personality, not issues.
Well, looks like we're winning on BOTH!!! :bounce:
