I think we need to continue hammering on McSame and Sarah "W" until the very end. Obama is taking the high road in this for the most part, and is allowing Biden to do some of the dirty work. It's all about the balance. I'm all about praising Obama when something new comes up that he has done or said, but the constant boot licking only serves to make us appear mindless. It's all about the balance, imho.

If Frenchie doesn't like the Palin threads, she should stay the fuck away and not dirty her beautiful mind. She can do what she pleases... I don't have to like it.

because it involves animal cruelty, and anything that even remotely gets that issue into the public consciousness works for me AND for Obama. Recent TV ads by Defenders of Wildlife depicting the aerial SLAUGHTER OF wolves in Alaska have had a very positive on Obama's campaign. Many republicans and independents, as well as Democrats are rabid animal lovers, and find this practice (endorsed by Sarah Palin) abhorrent. This translates into votes, donations. I personally know of several people who have decided to vote for Obama because of this. I strongly urge you and everyone else to donate to Defenders of Wildlife so they can get this message into more tv markets, especially in toss-up states, Even hunters(the ethical ones) detest this practice. Oh, yes, if you do donate to DoW, please do it in Sarah Palin's name. Maybe Gov Tundra Trash will get the big picture!:evilgrin: :grr:

Is a RW nutjob. We used to argue politics all the time, and it was never a big deal. I still adored his music, and I was always assured of a big hug and a "Hiya, June!" whenever I saw him. His wife got all pissed one day and said I was disrespecting him... bullshit... I haven't talked to him in a while, but I still have his last email to me telling me how much he appreciated me and my views... saying I was one of the few who "really gets it" even if he didn't agree, at least I could argue intelligently.

I will always love his music. Good thing, because you can't listen to classic rock without hearing one of his big three just about every day.

I can separate it just fine. And I'm betting the next time I catch one of his band's shows and hang out after, he'll give me a big grin, a big hug, and a "Hiya June!!" If his wife isn't around, that is. :eyes:
