A gun to our heads
This whole massive trillion dollar bailout feels like having a gun to our heads.

Chris Dodd was just on Hardball and basically said if we don't do it we'll have financial armagedden. Total meltdown.

The bad side? We have to hope other countries continue to buy our debt. There's no other place to get the money from. We're counting on them. They essentially have to save us.

The cost?

A slow growing economy and higher inflation.

But....there is no choice. We have to bail out the millionaires.

How do we save social security now?

What about universal healthcare?

What about infrastructure investment?

This is where money SHOULD be going. But it can't--because we drown completely if we don't fix this. And if no one wants our debt? We're screwed anyway.

And still--as McCain whines about debt--we continue to borrow for the Iraq disaster--10 billion a month. How much longer can we support that fiasco?

Unbelieveable.

We're screwed.
