I live near KC and wrote my 2d LTTE titled "Bush Lite". They sent me back a reply saying they didn't know if they'd publish it but when I picked up the paper today there were more anti-Palin letters than pro-Palin (or McBush) letters. My 1st letter was asking if McSame wasn't more "presumptuous" than Obama by sending Cindy to "assess civilian casualties in Georgia." WTF? That letter did get published and also got 2 irate answers extolling Cindy's virtues and philanthropies (though they failed to mention her drug stealing/using).
