We can kill two birds with one stone here...

Obama's response: Calm and reserved, not wanting to step on the toes of the Fed and Treasury as they work out a plan. He offers non-partisan solutions to prevent it from happening again.

McCain reponse: Cheap political theater. Claims that he would fire the Chairman of the SEC (which he can't do) and then puts out an ugly, racist ad that is a lie, to boot.

Who looked more Presidential today? Who looked ready to lead from Day One?

And who would you trust in this crisis.

We can show that Obama is ready to lead (and McCain isn't) AND we can deplore his race-baiting ad as both untrue and not helpful in this crisis.

www.democrats.org has a tool for generating letters to the editor. Might I suggest that 50,000 letters on this subject to the Washington Post and New York Times might get someone's attention?
