CNN: 37 Days since McCain last took questions from the press.
Thirty seven days since he held a press conference. Little appearances on news shows don't count.

Obama took a few questions just today.

This is very telling.

McCain would crumble if he didn't have the the questions AND answers prepared for him in advance.

4. He and Palin are afraid because they will be asked about
Troopergate and all her other lies. But 37 days puts us before Palin was chosen for V.P. so it has to be something else, I guess.

8. He's a gaffe machine, doesn't know his facts, misspeaks, mumbles....
...says, "I'll have to get back to you"...his handlers won't let him off the leash.

It's a selling point for our guy.

It may become more of a news item over the next few days.

10. I think the media are already ticked off at the McCain campaign
I haven't see some of the familiar faces (surrogates) on the morning shows for a while either. Whether this is because they haven't been invited, or they won't show up .

5. Let me remind you that McCain didn't have the chance to do interviews for 5 years when he was a POW.
