14. There are Tucker facts and then there are real facts

I love the way the smug little twit says that he relies upon the facts. He stated as a fact that Trooper Wooten had threatened the life of Palin's father on the telephone. Trooper Wooten has denied doing that and Palin refuses to testify to give her side of the story. Yet Carlson accepts as fact, something that hasn't been verified under oath and under cross-examination. And the taser story is completely misrepresented. Carlson doesn't give the "facts" about it. He simply says that Wooten tasered a child. That leaves the false impression that Wooten attacked a child using the full force of a taser, which Wooten didn't do. The child wanted Wooten to show him how a taser worked and Wooten set it on test mode. It was not a violent attack on the child, although it was very stupid. Wooten was grossly negligent but Tucker just doesn't seem to want to give the full picture, instead saying that Palin was justified in wanting to have Wooten fired, even if Wooten had already gone through the personnel board's legal process and been punished.

Tucker Carlson, absolutely the most deceptive and misleading person on television.
