5. I don't think Palin spent a lot of time on the job before McCain
chose her as a running mate. Alaskan congress members wore pins that said "Where's Sarah?" a comment on how little time she spent in the capital.

and commuted to the governor's office in (relatively) nearby Anchorage; the state capital, of course, is Juneau, several hundred miles away.

http://www.adn.com/sarah-palin/story/521329.html

The newspaper reported that Palin billed the state for meal money while spending more than 300 nights at her Valley home during her first 19 months in office and regularly takes family members on state-paid trips. In response, Palin's state spokeswoman said the governor has saved Alaska money by flying coach, selling the infamous state jet and cutting the chef at the governor's mansion in Juneau.

Of course she cut the chef at the governor's mansion! She's never there!!

edit: she then had the chutzpah to bill the state for per diem expenses while she was living at her home, a practice that would be illegal in most states. :eyes:

10. I guess THAT'S where Sarah was! At home.
I get the impression Palin delegates everything and then takes all the credit.
