Obama - McCain.

First debate.
I don't know who the moderator is, and I don't really give a shit.
Put Hannity up there asking the questions, and it won't make a difference.

Obama has the ability to destroy McCain.
All he has to do is mention "The Keating Five" and reference the situation we now find ourselves in.
McCain may lose it right there.
But, Obama won't do that.
There are too many other things to focus on.
Let's face it.
The Republicans are a very "target rich" environment right about now.

McCain will spew talking points and throw out some well placed barbs.
He'll say "My Friends" a lot.

Barack...
If he wants to, he can carve him to pieces and he knows that.
The question is simply this.
Unload on him now, or unload on him later.
I say we do it now.
Make sure everything that is said can be verified, and just keep on throwing punches.
Throw stuff out that McCain couldn't predict with a crystal ball.
Pound him.
America loves someone who fights back.
Make sure everyone knows that's what your doing. Fighting back.

A week from today, this thing may be over.
America (well some of them) will watch and say...
That guy scares me.
And it wont be our guy.

2. I will have my popcorn and some booze and I will watch every

minute of it. Obama must destroy McCain and use tactics to get McCain riled. I think McCain is barely hanging on and it he going to slip up with something probably not appropriate......

3. Obama will hold his own

but the expectations for McCain against the brilliant charismatic young senator will be very low and the press will spin it for McCain especially if he is still dropping in the polls. Remember that McCain has the ability to be a charming pleasant old man and he will play this part at Ol'Miss. If these were truly debates then Obama would put him away but they are more like glorified controlled discussions.

6. Remember how LOW expections were for McCain in the Saddleback forum?

And remember how the MSM was so surprised... even "impressed" with his short quick answers versus Obama's detailed answers. I hope this doesn't happen again.
