...WHAT will it be? Anyone want to guess?

Most obvious answer is some sort of MIHOPped terrorist incident. Anything else?

EDIT: Oh. I forgot THIS: :tinfoilhat:

6. Jeremiah Wright.
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2008/09/19/attack-by-association-viewed-as-fair-game-by-mccain-camp/

The only question is when, not if.

But considering how Obama dealt with that issue in the past, and that it was so long ago, I just don't think it'll push that many Independents or Democrats away from Obama.

22. I'm thinking a steady trickle...
...of endorsements from some unexpected parties. We already got an inkling of it this week. If Obama and Biden can pretty much own the news cycle with positive news from here on out, McSame's campaign won't be able to keep up.

The stench is certain to permeate the entire political atmosphere for at least week.

9. The October Surprise just may have come in September this cycle.
I have a hard time seeing anything overtaking the gravity of our economic situation, and petty political attacks are going to seem that much more petty in contrast to the problems we now face.

Edited on Sat Sep-20-08 12:37 AM by pinto
Tho' I figure they will not be all that surprised at their epic fail. The (R) agenda is decimated by realities. A handful of rah rah supporters won't change that.

18. Rev Wright in late October, followed by a bin Laden video endorsing Obama on election eve
Bin Laden did show his face on election eve in 2004, so I am sure the old boy will be brought back from his hideout in the Bahamas for an encore.

29. I'm worried that they might have video of Obama attending
one of Wright's sermons where he said some of the offensive things. Obama said he was never there when he said some of the really offensive things. I believe him. However, I think it is difficult to remember every single sermon you have attended. I just hope they don't have video of that........

38. That's one of bu$hit's parting shots - loot the remainder of the nation's coffers...
....completely gut the endangered species act, completely obliterate womens' right to choose and access to birth control.

First thing that asshole did was close the Office of Women's Initiatives. I figure he'll have one last fist to the face of women in the US before he leaves - abuser that he is.

And the fiscal thing - well, plunging us from record surpluses into record debt so his cronies can get rich...that's just The Republican Way.

39. The October Surprise? - I think I just heard the beginnings of a foundation on MSNBC
I'm going to guess here that the short story they just ran about the bombing in Pakistan today was to tie Al Quaeda + Marriott + Americans + no terror attack for 7 years + Muslims + 9/11 together in less than 1 minute.

I don't have a link it was just a quick interview lasting about 30-45 seconds, had a weird feeling of "here we go again" will they really manage to do it and they didn't disappoint me - lots of pictures and mention of those trigger words and now it's out there.

Fcking bastards from hell - they're just as bad as the radical fcking terrorists.
