Was it Biden who spoke about the fiscal problems now being the result of ideological
plans yesterday? Has he not opened the door for us to really hammer on the myth of the free market that Rs have based every financial outrage of the past 30 years on? Can we start presenting some unified thought around this to the nation as part of this campaign?

Joe can give you chapter and verse

that's why I get so pissed off at the assertions that he is "in the pocket" of the credit card companies

Whatever the judgment that made him on balance (along with 84 other Senators) vote for the bankruptcy bill, it was NOT that he was purposefully favoring big business against the little guy. That oft-repeated (including here on DU) slam is a rovian talking point.
